A Superhero Simulator map is not a separate download: it is the city map you open from inside the game, with Goldpine as the single open world you patrol. There is no published interactive map from the developer, so the useful information is what the map screen actually does, which landmarks matter for the mission loop, and where the game makes navigation deliberately awkward.
How the Goldpine City Map Works
The map is one key press away and works as a marker tool rather than a navigation panel. Launch gameplay shows the player told to open the map, mark home, and then fly to the resulting point of interest, and a Steam Community answer to a rent question repeats the same route: press Tab, open the map, and select the Home icon to reach your house door. In both cases the map sets a destination that the HUD then guides you toward.
What the HUD does not give you is a minimap. The screens during a patrol show the peace level bar and mission prompts but no persistent corner map, so route planning happens either on the full map screen or from memory. For a city with timed jobs in it, that is a bigger deal than it sounds.
The Places You Will Actually Use
Only a handful of locations carry mechanical weight, and the rest of Goldpine exists as scenery and traffic between them.

| Place | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Your apartment | Home base and the door where rent gets settled; the map marks it as a point of interest |
| The hospital | Where injured civilians must be delivered during rescue calls |
| Downtown | The district named in most dispatch calls for thugs, hostages and bomb threats |
| The docks and open water | Drowning incidents and water rescues happen out here, away from the streets |
| Job pickup points | Taxi fares appear as markers you must reach before the customer timer expires |
| The barber shop | Where the extra hair and facial hair styles live, per a Steam feedback thread |
| The wardrobe | In your apartment and where hero and civilian outfits are assembled |
The city itself is dense and water-heavy, with the walkthrough footage noting a New York feel from the traffic, cabs and rooftop water towers. Buildings are enterable in the sense that you can fly straight through several of them, which the map does not warn you about.
Getting Around Goldpine and Its Limits
Travel is the game's best feature and its most common source of trouble, and the reasons are worth knowing before you blame your own flying.
- No minimap, so the map key is the only way to check a destination mid-patrol.
- The street grid is irregular: one Steam review describes alternating T-junctions with very few four-way intersections, which makes ground routes longer than they look.
- Flying through buildings and vehicles costs city peace, so the fastest line is rarely the safest.
- Timed fares and rescue calls start their countdown before you know the route, so a first attempt at a taxi shift is usually a loss.
- No fast travel is documented, so distance is part of the design rather than an oversight.
If you are still deciding how to spend time in the city, the practical route is to learn downtown and the waterfront first, because those are where the dispatches point, and to keep your apartment as the rent checkpoint you return to. For the money side of that loop see the money page, and for the movement scheme itself see controls.
FAQ
Is there a Superhero Simulator map I can open in game?
Yes. Launch gameplay shows the map opening from a single key press, and a Steam Community answer tells players to press Tab, open the map and select the Home icon to find their apartment door. There is no published interactive map for the game from the developer, so the in-game map is the only official one.
Why is there no minimap while I fly?
The HUD in launch gameplay has no always-on minimap, only the peace level bar and prompts, so navigation means opening the full map or memorising landmarks. That is also why timed taxi fares feel harsh at first: you are learning a city without a compass while a customer timer runs.
Where do most crimes happen?
Downtown. The dispatch voice lines in the walkthrough footage call out the downtown area for armed thugs, hostage situations and bomb threats again and again, with drowning incidents appearing near the water instead. If you want to farm rescues, patrol downtown and the coastline rather than the outer streets.
Can I fast travel in Goldpine City?
Not documented. The map lets you mark points of interest including home, and flight is fast enough that the game treats travel as gameplay, so no fast-travel system is described in the store page, the official site or the community threads used here. Treat fast travel as to confirm.
Is there an official roadmap or city map published?
No. The Steam thread asking for a 2026 roadmap drew a gameplay suggestion rather than an official plan in the material collected here, and the developer site does not publish a city map. Anything beyond the in-game map should be treated as player-made.
