Kernel Hearts Epic Games — Store, Demo and Offer Details

Kernel Hearts is sold on the Epic Games Store alongside Steam, and the Epic listing is where the game gift-with-purchase offer is documented. This page covers only what the Epic Games Store pages state about buying Kernel Hearts there; anything about cross-game cosmetic redemption beyond the listing wording is marked to confirm.

Kernel Hearts on the Epic Games Store

The Epic product page carries the same pitch as Steam, describing a unique blend of action RPG and roguelike elements with multiplayer co-op and a Tower of Babel climb. It is priced at $19.99, shows a Teens rating with first-party descriptor wording, and displays an Epic player rating of 4.6 captured from the Epic Games ecosystem.

Epic store detail	Value shown on the listing
Price	$19.99
Age rating	Teen
Content descriptors	Blood, Language, Suggestive Themes, Violence, Use of Alcohol and Tobacco
Account required	Epic ID
Player rating	4.6

The Epic page also lists system requirements that differ slightly from Steam: a minimum of an Intel i5 4750 or AMD FX-8350 with 8 GB RAM and a GTX 760 or Radeon HD 7950 on DirectX 11, and recommended specs of an Intel i5 7600 or Ryzen 5 1600 with 16 GB RAM and a GTX 970 or Radeon R9 390 on DirectX 12.

The Fernet Outfit Gift-With-Purchase

This is the part of the Epic listing that most people search for, so it is worth stating exactly and narrowly. The Epic Games Store product page says, in its own words, that buying Kernel Hearts on the Epic Games Store gets you the Fernet Outfit in Fortnite as a gift-with-purchase, and it links to a separate offer-details page on the Epic Games Store.

Read that as a store promotion attached to buying this game:

• It is described as a gift-with-purchase tied to buying Kernel Hearts on the Epic Games Store.
• The reward is the Fernet Outfit, named for the Kernel Hearts character Fernet.
• Eligibility, timing and redemption steps live on the Epic offer-details page, which is the only authoritative source for the fine print.

Nothing here describes Kernel Hearts itself as a Fortnite mode, and nothing here describes Fortnite content as Kernel Hearts content. Details such as a pre-purchase window, an exact start date or whether other storefronts qualify are not stated in the product-page wording available here, so treat those as to confirm and check the offer-details page directly.

Demo, Achievements and Buying on Epic

The Epic Games Store hosts three related Kernel Hearts destinations worth knowing about.

Epic destination	What it is
Main product page	The paid game listing at $19.99
Demo listing	A separate free Kernel Hearts Demo page on the Epic Games Store
Offer details page	The gift-with-purchase fine print for the Fernet Outfit
Achievements page	A dedicated Epic achievements destination for Kernel Hearts

Buying on Epic means accepting the Epic ID login requirement stated on the listing. If you want to try before buying, the standalone demo listing is the correct official destination rather than a third-party mirror.

What Is Not Confirmed

Three things are commonly searched and are not settled by the sources used here.

• Whether the Fortnite outfit offer has a deadline or a pre-purchase window.
• Whether buying Kernel Hearts on Steam or consoles grants the same outfit.
• Whether the Epic version supports cross-platform co-op with Steam players, which is listed as a Steam category but not spelled out between storefronts.

All three are to confirm. The safe summary is that the Epic Games Store sells Kernel Hearts at $19.99, requires an Epic ID, offers a separate free demo, and attaches a Fernet Outfit Fortnite gift-with-purchase whose terms are on the Epic offer-details page.
